TCAA Workshop: October 11-14, 2011

SNAFFLES, CURBS AND SPADES:
The How and Why of Bit-making Ernie Marsh, lead instructor, will address spade and half-breed bits including history and development. Co-instructors Mark Dahl (ring bits), Wilson Capron and Russell Yates (snaffle and curb bits) will be assisting in the instruction of other styles of bits. The instructors will also do demonstrations on technique and proper use of tools throughout the workshop. This workshop will have a limit of 24 participants. Cost, $400.

If you are unable to attend the opening weekend events, there is a way to participate in the sale by proxy. Stephanie Leach at the Museum will be handling the proxy bids for this year's exhibit and sale. Her phone number is 405-478-2250 extension 262. You may contact her via e-mail at sleach@nationalcowboymuseum.org. You will be sent a catalog and bid book as soon as they are ready so that you may see the work before the exhibit opening.
